Book Description
Me, Mommy and Cancer is Inez Whitehead-Dickens' second book. As a stage 3B breast cancer survivor and mother, she knows firsthand how difficult it is to tell your children that you have cancer. Recognizing this and knowing that cancer is invading our younger population with younger children, Whitehead-Dickens wrote this book from a conversation she had with her then 6-year-old grandson Kain. Giving this book to a child to read will make it much easier to have that dreaded conversation. Her first book, Cancer Kickin Warrior-the Ultimate Feel-Good Cancer Survivor Book, was released in 2010. In it she tells stories, including her own, of people who have survived all stages and types of cancer.
